
CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS
The club runs a number of either Singles or Pairs Club Championships. These knock-out events are played over the season, climaxing on Finals Day listed in the annual Fixture List.
Members can register for all or any of the club competitions by completing the relevant boxes on the annual membership renewal form.
The pairs competitions matches are all held on "play on" dates which are in the fixtures list.
The singles competitions are all play by dates (except 2 Woods, 75 Fixed Jack and New Entrants which have their own days)
The draw for the 2023 Championships will be made on 20th April at 3:00pm in the Clubhouse.

Singles Competitions
Club Singles Championship
Open to all members. There is an open draw for all entrants
Winner of each match is the first player to score 21.
Men’s Kelly Singles Championship
Open to all men. There is an open draw for all entrants
Winner of each match is the first player to score 21.
The Champion will represent Harperbury in the following seasons District Champion of Champions competition.
Ladies Kelly Singles Championship
Open to all ladies. There is an open draw for all entrants
Winner of each match is the first player to score 21

Two Wood Singles Competition
21 Ends are played.
Open to all members. There is an open draw for all entrants.
Butler Singles Knockout Handicap Competition
Open to all members knocked out in their first Club Singles game, and there is an open draw all entrants, post completion of all CLUB SINGLES 1st round matches.
A Club Competitions Committee allocate each participant with a 'handicap' number of shots and the winner of each match is the first player to score 21
75 Fixed Short Jack
A new competition for 2023 open to members 75 years and older.
New Entrants
Another new competition for 2023 open to bowlers who joined the club in 2022 and 2023 and who have not previously bowled.
Pairs Competitions
All Harperbury BC pairs competition teams are drawn to play along side each other. Entrants are divided into Group 1 and Group 2, based upon achievements and ability, as determined by a Competitions Committee. A Pair is made up of one person from Group 1 and one from Group 2.
Club Pairs Championship
Pairs can be any combination of ladies and men (1 lady + 1 man, 2 men, 2 ladies).
21 Ends are played.
Open Draw for all Pairs.
Mixed Pairs Competition
Pairs must be a combination of one lady and one man.
21 Ends are played.
Open Draw all Pairs.
Holgate Fixed Jack Pairs Competition
Pairs can be any combination of ladies and men (1 lady + 1 man, 2 men, 2 ladies).
Ends alternate with the same fixed short jack and fixed long jack.
18 Ends are played.
